Detailed description of Collins Hill Golf Club
Collins Hill Golf Club is a Public 18 holes golf course located in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Collins Hill Golf Club first opened for play in 1965. The course was designed by Perrin Walker.
The course was originally named Springbrook Public Golf Course. The course is a scenic, parkland design with water hazards (ponds and lakes) coming into play on seven holes. The greens are small and undulating, and the fairways are narrow because they are lined with mature trees. The course was built on rolling terrain with numerous sand bunkers incorporated into the course design.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,135 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,792 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 10, a par-5 that plays to 512 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 125 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 11, a 418-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 4, a 125-yard par-3.

It is a cute course and I never get tired of playing it. none of the holes are really difficult if you drive straight put it close to the hole and less than 2 putts

A year ago I played there and they were in trasition, repairing the greens and the fairways. this is so nice now. Greens are fast and in great shape. Fairways are in very good condition. Layout is above average. I had a great time playing there and took my wedding party there to play.

Greens were absolutely horrible, I can understand the low price for nine. I will not go back, I called before going to the course, they didn't take the opportunity to let me know just how bad the course was as far as the conditions of the greens

I like this course. Not too busy. Very hilly which makes fairways tough in dry conditions. Not super fine condition but plenty good enough for a hacker like me.
